Hex

Connect opposite edges with a chain of hexagons.

How to play Hex

Pink connects top to bottom; Blue connects left to right on a 7×7 hexagonal grid. Place one stone per turn on an empty hexagon. Stones join only through shared edges.

The second player can swap ownership of the colors after the opening stone. That stone stays in place, and Blue moves next. Against the computer, choose Your color to start as Pink or Blue. Pink moves first, so choosing Blue lets the computer open. Your current color is shown above the board and changes if sides are swapped. Hex has no draws.
