Accessibility
Playing in a way that works for you.
We aim to make LemonYak.io comfortable to use on phones, tablets, and computers. Accessibility work is ongoing, and some spatial games may be harder to use with assistive technology.
Keyboard and controls
Most controls use standard buttons, links, selects, and inputs. Use Tab to move between controls and Enter or Space to activate focused buttons. Games that support typed answers also accept your physical keyboard. Instructions explain any game-specific controls.
Animation and sound
The site respects your device’s reduced-motion preference for decorative animation. How-to guides can be paused and stepped through manually. Sound has a mute button, and typing is silent.
Boards and screen readers
Many game squares include text labels identifying their position or contents, and status messages use live regions. These features are intended to help, but they are not a guarantee that every game is fully accessible.
Reading and zoom
Pages adapt to narrow screens and browser zoom. Supported games also have a board enlargement control. You can use your browser’s text or page zoom settings for additional enlargement.
If a game is difficult to use
Try the step-by-step guide, a different difficulty, or another game. The Help & FAQ page explains the common controls and troubleshooting steps.
